Summer sips (best served ice cold…)

Better late than never, summer has arrived. We’ve been busy brainstorming cocktails made to sip and savour in those blissful last rays as golden hour closes the day, or simply to make that balcony moment feel like a rooftop in Barcelona (if you close your eyes and have a good dose of imagination…) From bold and bitter to bright and fiery – traditional cocktails, poured untraditionally. 

These aren’t complicated drinks. No mad infusions or six-hour prep. Just great cocktails made better by what’s in your glass – Vapoura. So whether you’re solo in the sun or surrounded by friends with the playlist warming up, here’s your sign to shake things up a bit. Take the edge off. Turn the mundane into something worth toasting.

Spicy Daiquiri 

Zesty and unapologetically bold. Chapter One’s spiced notes of nutmeg, blood orange and ginger meet pineapple, lime, and a hit of heat. It’s summer with a kick – fiery, fresh, and guaranteed to pack a punch. 

Ingredients

  • 50ml Vapoura Chapter 1
  • 20ml Lime Juice
  • 20ml Pineapple Juice
  • 15ml 2:1 Honey / Agave Syrup
  • 3-5 Dashes of Tobasco

Shake then strain into a cocktail glass, no ice. Garnish with red chilli and a lime wheel. 

Passionfruit Negroni

A summer classic with a golden twist. Chapter Two’s notes of vanilla, tobacco and dark chocolate add depth to bright passionfruit and bitter Campari. Sip slowly in the glow of the late afternoon sun. 

Ingredients

  • 30ml Vapoura Chapter 2
  • 20ml Campari
  • 5ml Sweet Vermouth
  • 5ml Monin Passionfruit Syrup

Stir then pour into a rocks glass over a block of ice, garnish with a twist of orange.
